Hindi Movie 12th Fail

Hindi Movie 12th Fail

12. Story of Failure:

An inspiring story of an IPS officer who failed his Class 12 exams, took up odd jobs, barely slept three hours a night and failed his UPSC exams more than four times.12. Failure in Exam: Passing the coveted Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams is not for the weak, either in terms of studies or beliefs. This is what makes the story of Manoj Kumar Sharma (Vikrant Massey) extraordinary. A boy from Chambal village in Madhya Pradesh fails in his 12th exam after the new DPS, Dushyant Singh (Partisanship Chatterjee), stops teachers from cheating students in 'Board' (board exams).

Manoj was promoted to the third division the next year and reached Delhi, where he passed the civil service exam in.He lacks drive but lacks academic acumen, so much so that he doesn't even realize that there is a UPSC or IPS profile. The story is about Manoj and how he juggles physical labor to survive while pursuing his dream with the support of his mentor (Anshumaan Pushkar), friends and girlfriend Shraddha Joshi (Medha Shankar).Every song in the film is a story in itself - from Manoj's deluded youth when he couldn't tell right from wrong, to his struggles and trying to start from scratch every time.

The viewer feels invested in Manoj's success or failure. As the tension builds as we approach the final stage (the interview), there is a silent pause and even the ambient noise makes you hold your breath. The narrative unfolds easily, recalling legends like APJ Kalam and BR Ambedkar's call to his followers: "Educate, agitate, organize."
The film also subtly delves into why corrupt politicians want young people to remain unintelligent , so that they can be oppressed and governed. Vikrant Massey takes on the challenging role and character with ease.

He does justice to his character at every moment, whether he is outraged, helpless or determined to turn the tide in his favor. Partisanship Chatterjee shines in his brief role as the DCP, whose sincerity comes from his courage.
His artistry is evident in the scene where he meets Manoj as his superior. His reaction is a mixture of respect for the elder and pride at having inspired the young man to choose the right path. Geeta Agrawal Sharma and Harish Khanna as Manoj's parents deserve credit for their nuanced performances.“12th Fail” is a must-see film that will delight and inspire you in almost every scene of its 147 minutes. Kudos to Chopra for bringing out the best in every character in the film.
